Intermediaries
Such as technology transfer offices, clusters, incubators or standardisation bodies - link science, industry and society, turning knowledge into practical application. For the Austrian NCP-IP, they are key because all four European Codes of Practice on Knowledge Valorisation - Intellectual Assets, Standardisation, Citizen Engagement and Industry-Academia Co-Creation - rely on functioning intermediary structures to move from recommendation to implementation.
