In Austria, more and more women are working as inventors, in patent and licensing departments, in technology transfer, and in knowledge commercialization—yet they remain significantly underrepresented in these fields compared to other countries. To change this, the NCP-IP is “bringing women in IP into the spotlight,” raising awareness of their work, and strengthening their role in the innovation system.
Through networking events, opportunities for exchange, and targeted initiatives such as our podcast, the NCP-IP supports women in IP. This creates a space where women can contribute their expertise, learn from one another, and actively shape Austria’s innovation landscape together.
